The Laurel Historical Society has many options available for you to take a Walking Tour of Laurel.

Whether you'd like to take a walk around Laurel visiting historic sites or sit back at your computer and learn about them, you'll find our resources will help you complete your journey.

City of Laurel Walking Tour

Our "City of Laurel Walking Tour" was developed in cooperation with the City of Laurel in 2006.

This walking tour features 49 sites throughout the city and is a comprehensive resource for those looking to learn more about the City of Laurel's history.

This tour is available at the Laurel of Museum.

 

Thematic Walking Tour

Our Thematic Walking Tour was developed in 2009 and features five themes:

Mill Life, Main Street, Route 1, Residences, and Life in the Grove.

This short tour is available at our Museum and online.
